I wasn't satisfied with Tusq saddles on my strat guitar - compared to standard american block steel saddles they improved the sustain, but I missed the classic fender "zing" so I decided to give the Raw Vintage saddles a try. And I'm glad I did - the tone is back and the sustain is even improved! Now the guitar sounds like a really good strat should.
I had a minor problem - the height adjustment saddles on both E strings are a little shorter than those on other strings. That's fine on most bridges, but my bridge plate has lowered regions under E strings and that makes those screws too short. My thanks to Carsten from pedaler.eu, who ordered for me the longer screws and now I'm able to set the height of the saddles just right.
