The El Jefe is a low to medium gain overdrive that retains a full, smooth sound even at low volumes and is designed to be an extension of your tone. The op-amp is socketed to allow for IC swapping and theres an internal trim pot that allows for fine tuning of the sharpness of the drive. As with all BMF Effects pedals, the El Jefe is true bypass and can be powered by a DC source.
