DESCRIPTION
FETTO is an overdrive / distortion pedal in the Marshall league.
Just like its fat brother FETTO Deluxe it generates rough overdrives / distortions, rich in harmonics. FETTO doesnt sound like a pedal, it sounds like an extension of your amp!

HISTORY
The FETTO adventures started in 1988. The reason for this was that most available overdrive/distortion pedals sounded pretty boring. Most of the time muddy and lifeless, too filtered and swampy, which changes the original tone too much. Now, 19 years later much more overdrive/distortion pedals are produced, but it seems like time stood still – most of them still belongs to the beloved and now huge Tube Screamer family, where FETTO doesnt live.
The original FETTO was developed and put aside very fast in 1988, maybe because I also got myself a car and a few things more happened in about the same time. Then a few years passed. Suddenly it was 2004 and was spending my time in the home studio as usual. But something was wrong – the guitar tone. And in the same time I remembered That Old Thing (The original FETTO). So I looked around to find the original schematics – lets try again!
Not a bad idea! A few days later the tone was pretty good. I already knew this little thing was good in 1988, but now I was surprised how good it really was.
Modifications followed, Some songs were recorded, a few people heard it and soon I had the question Is it possible to buy that thing?
The intention was never to make FETTO commercial. I made it because I needed a good recording tone. It was still a lab board creation which worked fine as is for me. But as time passed, not only one person showed his interest... and in the late spring of 2004 we could see the first FETTO crawling out of the tent, with closed eyes and mouth wide open.

FETTOs CHARACTER is raw without losing your original tone. Evil in a pleasant way and very tube-like. Yes, this has been said many times before by other pedal makers but with FETTO its also easy to get a creamy, crunchy distortion on low volumes. Its definitely a good choice if you like old Marshall-type-of amplifiers and need to push it a bit harder – FETTO gives great distortion at any volume!
Just like with FETTO Deluxe you will get good string separation, all the way from smooth overdrive to heavy distortion. And you will never lose the character of your instrument or amplifier, a common dilemma with distortion pedals. AND FETTO acts very natural to the volume control of your guitar! Did you hear this before? Well, this time its true. Last but not least, FETTO has several adjustments hidden under the bonnet, so it can be tailored and fine-tuned to match its users taste and equipment.

PRODUCTION at HEA is made by hand. Everything, from idea to accomplished product, is made by Joakim Hedeby in Sweden. With that said I want to make clear that FETTO is not custom built for every owners wishes. Its one model, for the moment (Oct 2006) namned FETTO 11.1. At times its updated and then it gets a new version number. Since the start 2004, FETTO has been made in 4 versions.
FETTO is a creation by Himmelstrutz Elektro Art, not a clone!
Right now some FETTO has left the house and most of the users seems satisfied.
As I really like FETTO myself, Im pleased that its liked by others too!
